I travelled back to Cattaraugus County at the end of the Winter season in the year 2015. I wanted to take photographies of the rural constructions without the presence of the snow, which, in my previous journey, had added a poetic touch to my Pictures that probably did not match with the real social situation of that área, where the recent economical crisis had produced devastating effects.
It is hard to believe such a deep level of poorness in the richest Country in the World.
Regresé a Cattaraugus County a finales del invierno del 2015. Quería fotografiar las construcciones rurales sin la presencia de la nieve de mi viaje anterior, que había añadido un toque poético a mis imágenes que quizá no se correspondía con la realidad social del condado. La reciente crisis económica había tenido unos efectos devastadores sobre la zona.
Me cuesta creer que en el País mas rico del mundo pueda haber tanta pobreza.
