In 1985, he graduated in film directing at the American Film Institute (Los Angeles, USA).
Directs several short films in California: Lifeguard, Jonathan what the hell and Neon.
Writes the script Trains do not stop here, with the intention of making a feature film. Cannot find a producer.
Works as an advert and founds O’Partners with Pepo Sol.
Later, he works as freelancer director with other producers.
Wins several awards in many advertising festivals, highlighting several bronze lions at Cannes Film Festival and other awards at San Sebastian, FIAP, Clio, etc. Wins the Festival Grand Prix 2004 El Sol, with the spot “Crossroads” by BMW, inspired in an experimental film by the director himself.
Writer of the documentary “From Chillida Hokusai”, that talks about the creation of a sculpture by Eduardo Chillida.
Founding partner of the independent film production Fresdeval Films, in which he produces the film “The Hours of the Day”, FIPRESCI Prize in Cannes 2003.
Combines his film projects with the completion of experimental films and installations.
In March 2004 presents an installation titled Absences in the Madrid Peironcely Gallery.
In 2007 writes and directs the film The straight line, which competes in the official sections of the international festivals of Gijón (Spain) and Bafici (Argentina).
In 2008 makes a series of outdoor installations in Salinas (Menorca, Spain).
In 2008 starts working in the film Aita, ending in early 2010.
This same year, the film is presented in the official section of International Film Festival of San Sebastian, winning the Silver Award in Best Cinematography.
Between 2012 and 2015 starts working in several photography projects as RIZOMAS, THE NEIGHBOR’S PROJECT, WHITE DREAMS or CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SIDE B, all of them shown at Valid Photo Gallery in Barcelona.
In 2015 begins to work on the feature film Barkatu, a project created during the Master of Documentary Creation (IDEC, University Pompeu Fabra). Currently it is in funding phase.
The same year joins the UPF Comunication Department as an associated teacher.
Between 2016 and 2019 alternates his teaching lessons with photography projects, as IN ARBORIUS NIX, VENEZIA DECONSTRUCCIONES, HISTORIAS EXTRAORDINARIAS or LE CASE DE PINOCCHIO. He’s selected as one of the artists of Blanca Berlin Gallery (Madrid) and KUR (San Sebastián).
In 2019 finishes the editing of XX99, a medium-length film shot in 2006.
